Faqs Category: Crane Truck Hire

Load security is non-negotiable on every job. Our operators are trained in rigging and load restraint, and we carry appropriate lifting gear for each job type. We document lifts with photos and provide proof of delivery. If there are any concerns during a lift, we stop and reassess — we'd rather take longer than cause damage.

Crane trucks require stable ground and sufficient clearance for the outriggers to deploy safely. We always do a pre-job assessment and our operators will raise any access concerns before work begins. If your site has specific constraints — overhead power lines, narrow driveways, soft ground — let us know when booking so we can plan accordingly.

We offer both hourly and fixed-price options depending on the scope of work. For straightforward lifts, an hourly rate works well. For complex or multi-lift jobs, we can quote a fixed price so you have certainty on cost before the truck arrives. Request an estimate through our website or call Phil directly.

All Toretto crane truck operators hold current High Risk Work Licences (HRWL) for crane operation, are white card certified, and have real-world experience on active Adelaide construction sites. We carry full public liability and workers compensation insurance.

We regularly lift bricks, hebel blocks, pallets, steel frames, pre-cast panels, glass, tanks, and other heavy or oversized construction materials. Our crane trucks are also used for container lifts, site shed relocations, and equipment placement.

Our crane truck fleet includes 15m and 21m reach options, with an extended 8.6m tray for oversized loads. This covers the majority of residential, commercial, and industrial lift requirements across Adelaide and South Australia.

A crane truck has a hydraulic crane mounted on the truck itself, giving it lifting capacity and reach suited to heavier, more complex lift particularly where load weight exceeds what a telehandler can handle, or where the lift needs to clear obstacles like fences, rooflines, or scaffold. Telehandlers are better for repetitive upper-floor placements. If you're unsure, call us we'll assess your job and recommend the right equipment, not the most expensive option.

We do our best to accommodate urgent bookings across metro Adelaide. Availability depends on current scheduling, so call us directly for the fastest answer. For planned jobs, we recommend booking at least a few days ahead to secure your preferred time.
